Our third-party Logistics company focuses on providing our customers with the best option when moving their freight from point A to point B. Our asset-based transportation company ensures your products arrive safely and securely.

Our consulting company, Evolve Powered by nSource, assist clients in optimizing their supply chain by reducing redundancies thus increasing the bottom line.

Our Leadership

Carlton Dean III, CEO

Carlton Dean III, CEO

Born and raised in Cleveland OH, Carlton Dean III is no stranger to hard work. While attending Hiram College, Dean became the 11th leading scorer in Hiram finishing his career with 1324 points. In 2018 Dean was inducted into the William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame. Dean graduated from Hiram College with a Bachelors’ in Communications and Studio Art.

After graduation Dean went on to play professional basketball abroad. His basketball career landed him various contracts in Spain and the Netherlands. His participation in the international sports arena taught him the value of teamwork and perseverance which are key traits in building relationships in corporate America.

Following a successful basketball career, Dean, landed a role with Penske Truck Leasing, where he was able to hone his leadership and sales skills.

During his time at Penske, Dean saw a lack of minority representation in the transportation and logistics industry. As a result, He co-founded Evolve Global Logistics and Evolve Global Transportation. Hoping to change the industry Dean works to create a diverse environment where the customers, drivers, and staff feel supported and heard.

Regardless of the industry, Dean is always looking for ways to do more. He is currently serving on the Local Advisory Board for U.S. Bank. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors for the Ohio MSDC and is the MBEIC Vice-Chair for Central Ohio. Carlton Dean was also the 2019 winner of the Ohio MSDC President’s Award. When he is not changing the world He is home with his wife of 5 years, Brianne, and their 3 children. He is an avid golfer and still enjoys a good game of basketball.

John Bush

John Bush, President

Originally from Brookhaven Mississippi, John Bush is the product of hard work and determination. As an effort to give her family a better future John’s mother moved him and his sister to Utah. After graduating from Ogden High School in Ogden, Utah, Bush signed a professional baseball contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a shortstop.

A broken wrist ended his baseball career however it opened the door to higher education and basketball. John spent the first two years of college at Weber State University as a walk on that made the basketball team. He transferred to Rocky Mountain College on full scholarship where he continued playing basketball and completed his degree. Rocky Mountain College recognized John by inducting him into the Hall of Fame in 1997.

While in college John worked nights at UPS unloading trailers. It was John’s dedication and hard work that allowed him to matriculate through UPS. After 32 years, countless promotions and numerous achievements, Bush retired from UPS in 2018 as a Director of Sales.

He brings years of experience to his role as President. John also finds time to volunteer and support the United Way of Delaware County as their board chair.

John is married to Brenda, an incredible wife and stepmother/mother to their two wonderful adult kids. Their daughter, LaToya lives in NY with her husband, Mikhail, his two daughters and their son.

Their son, Nicholas, is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Health Sciences degree and a current student in the dental program at The Ohio State University. They have a sassy little West Highland Terrier named Tana who is in charge of neighborhood watch on their cul de sac!

In his spare time, John likes to golf, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with his family and grandkids.

Mara Flood

Mara Flood, Chief of Staff, Supplier Diversity

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio Mara Flood attended Independence High School. After high school she went on to Wright State University were she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Later she went on to attend Central Michigan University’s Global campus earning a Master of Science Degree in Administration.

What was supposed to be a 2 month temporary assignment with the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council, turned into over a decade of work in supplier diversity. During her time with OMSDC, Mara’s passion for serving the diverse community grew. In early 2021 Mara joined Evolve Global Logistics for an opportunity to continue her personal mission of supporting diversity.

In her spare time Mara enjoys traveling and hopes to visit all 50 states. When she is not working or traveling Mara enjoys playing with her pit bull puppy, Storm.
