Account Manager

Evolve Global Transportation is looking for a motivated hard-working individual Account Manager to join our team. Account manager responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives, and producing sales with potential and current customers while providing superior customer service.

Account Manager must research potential clients, secure new accounts to build their book of business, or collection of customers, in the process of arranging clients’ shipments. An account manager must be adept at giving and receiving information verbally, text, email, or other social platforms both parties are comfortable with. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.

The Account Manager will secure new accounts, expedite the sharing of information and documentation between customers and carriers, and communicate with dispatchers and drivers to track the status of loads. You will negotiate contracts with carriers in a manner that optimizes profits.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new customer partners
  • Foster and build relationships with customers by gaining an understanding of their expectations and specific preferences.
  • Negotiate rates on lanes, jobs and projects with customers
  • Work within team structure
  • Verify accuracy of the sale; freight, carrier information, etc.
  • Obtain all documents required for invoicing when requested from customers
  • Shipment management tracking and tracing to ensure on time and safe delivery of loads.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function of the job.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies around the provision of logistical services
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive, McLeod Software or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Logistics Coordinator

Evolve Global Logistics is looking for a service-minded logistics coordinator to act as a liaison between our carrier sales team and freight carriers. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will help cover freight and build carrier relationships.  You will play a critical role in overseeing daily load activities while maintaining a high level of customer service to continuously exceed our customers’ expectations.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain carrier relationships to ensure dedicated capacity on a large scale
